Jump Is Grandview’s Newest 2x State Champ

On March 9, 2019, Hudson “Huddy” Jump won his second 

OHSAA Individual Wrestling State Tournament Championship 

Title.  This time it was in the Division III 220-pound weight class.  

Grandview Heights High School’s Hudson Jump added to the Wrestling 

Team’s long traditional as GHCSD’s most-successful athletic program, now 

boasting 10 individual State titles, including three, two-time winners.  He 

earned his second State Championship Title in dominating fashion by 

scoring technical falls against all four of his opponents, including a 19-4 

decision in the Final Round.  Hudson finished his senior season with an 

unblemished overall record of 38-0.
